proverb

I searched Japanese proverbs and foreign country's proverbs.
What are relativity of Japanese proverbs and American proverbs?
For example near meaning proverbs in Japan and America are “Time is money” is “toki ha kanenari”, “An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” is “meniha mewo haniha hawo”, and “Children do not know the extent of their parents” is “oyano kokoro ko sirzu”.
These proverbs used in the same meaning in Japan and America.
Next, I searched American proverbs. “There is no royal road to leaning”. This means is to leaning is not easy, there is not short cut. “Heaven helps those who helps themselves.”. This means is person who exerts oneself is helped by god.
There are many proverbs in the world. I like proverbs so I search it.
